Kalyana Samayal Saadham is an upcoming Indian Tamil romantic-comedy film written and directed by RS Prasanna. It will feature Prasanna and Lekha Washington in the lead roles.Director Arun Vaidyanathan is producing the movie along with Ananth Govindan.
Director Arun Vaidhyanathan who made the critically acclaimed Achamundu Achamundu with Sneha and Prasanna in the lead, is producing the movie Kalyana Samayal Saadham along with Ananth Govindan. Music is to be crooned by debutant Arrora and cinematography by Krishnan Vasant who has assisted big budget movies in Bollywood.

The filming started on 3 January 2013. The shooting of Kalyana Samayal Saadham (KSS), about a big fat Indian wedding, will feature in Emmy-nominated American television series Born To Explore with Richard Wiese. "The movie (KSS) was covered as part of an EMMY-Award Nominated American TV Series 'Born to Explore' to be aired on America's No.1 TV Channel ABC soon. It will also be aired on National Geographic world over", a statement from the film's production house said.
The film is scheduled to release on August 09th 2013 as .A song from the film 'Mella Sirithai' is already released and got a nice review from the viewers. The whole unit is upbeat about this movie, and to grab the youngsters attention a single from this movie is soon to be out.

Talking about the technical extravaganza for his film, Prasanna says, “Cinema is an audio visual experience. Ours is a feel good comedy, but sound plays a huge role in immersing the audience into the world of the story. Especially in new age comedies and some of the best from world cinema, sound elements like room tone, ambience, etc., play a huge role in adding to the comic atmosphere.
A loud, creaky fan that punctuates an awkward silence between characters can by itself become a comic gag. The texture of sound is as critical as the visual experience of the movie.”
